We are an Electronics wiring harness design builder - testing equipment company in inner SE Portland in need of someone to build wiring harnesses for vintage vehicles (1960s-70s technology), as well as modern electric / hybrid / autonomous vehicle, autonomous ariel unmanned vehicle wiring.

Applicants must have extensive electrical/wiring experience and be able to read and understand wiring diagrams. Applicants MUST know how to make a lot of electrical connections.
experience in Electrical Harness/Cable/Wire Design and Routing
Experience with High Voltage and Low Voltage harnesses in automotive industry

This position would fit well for a former control panel builder or someone who has experience with custom wiring harnesses.

Duties:
Build, Assemble and Repair Wiring Harnesses in a safe and efficient manner.
Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams/schematics
Understand and follow verbal instructions
Compare work to samples provided to ensure consistent production
Crimp, screw, bolt, rivet etc. to attach components together using hand tools, power tools, machines etc.
Perform in-production testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to ensure that parts and assemblies meet production specs and standards
Other related duties may be assigned
Soldering skills are a plus

This position will be for 20-40 hours a week, but we're flexible as to which hours will be worked (must be between 9 and 5 M-F).

Compensation: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. Rate dependent on proficiency. Medical and dental benefits for full time (32 to 40 hours) employees start at 60 days, company pays 50% of employees cost.
